QUACKENSTAIN HATCHES A FAMILY

Once upon a time there was a duck, called Quack, he lived in the darkest corner of the zoo, in a gloomy shack. All the animals in the zoo lived in herds or gaggles, only the poor Quack was alone.
One day, while he was passing near the nursery, he saw all the babies and felt even more lonely.
He was proceeding in the corridor when he bumped his head in signal that read : "ORPHANED EGGS, HOMES NEEDED", so he chose an egg and decided to adopt It. At home he set It on his empty nest and waited for the eggs to hatch. Then on one dark and stormy night the egg finally opened, but the baby was not a duck but "a monster", as Quack described It, It has fur and a beaver's tail. Quack was so scared that he ran away from It and starting to hide everywhere, but the little monster kept following him. At the end Quack hid in a cave and there were no possible exits for him,  the monster found him and just say " Hi daddy" to Quack;
Quack finally understood that the monster wanted to stay with him and that It was not a real monster.
They went home together and Quack accepted the little beast for what he was, just a platypus.
